Have a Romantic Easter Holiday with Easter Theme Games
& Chocolate Easter Gift BasketsBy: Randy Gardner
It's time we started associating Easter with some of the more
romantic holidays. It is, of course, a religious holiday, but
so is Christmas. Many couples find time for romance during the
Christmas holiday. Why shouldn't they do the same at Easter?
The start of spring, the warmth in the air, and the rebirth of
nature make the Easter season ripe for romance. So this Easter
weekend, treat your gal or guy to an Easter date.
Plan your romance for Friday or Saturday
of Easter weekend. That way, your plans for romance won't
interfere with any church services, kid's egg hunts or family
dinners that are planned for Easter Sunday.
One of the great things about romance is that it's not
necessary to make grand gestures and spend lots of money to let
the one you love know how you feel. The Easter season lends
itself to simple, romantic and fun ideas. Go with them and you
won't go wrong. Don't be fooled into thinking that women always
need a big show to know they are cared about. It's been my
experience that it's the little, thoughtful things that really
melt a girl's heart.
Plan a grown up Easter Egg Hunt.
Buy some inexpensive plastic eggs and fill them with small
gifts like favorite chocolates and candies, love notes, and
I.O.U.'s for backrubs, massages and breakfast in bed or a night
in control of the remote control.
Set up your bedroom with soft lights, Easter theme appetizers,
wine, champagne or beer and dress in something suggestive. Then
hide your small gifts all around the bedroom, including the
closet and send your sweetheart on an egg hunt. You may want to
have one "eggstra" special egg with some very special gift
hidden in it. But make sure you remember exactly where you hid
it or both of you will be searching around to find all your
hidden gifts.
Role Play as a "Macho" Easter Bunny pursuing his Plush, Soft,
Cuddly "Chick"
Get some inexpensive rabbit and chick costumes or accessories
from any discount store. It is also great fun to make up each
other's faces as a rabbit or chick using make-up or easily
removable paint.
After you conclude your romantic role playing activities, feast
on a unique, specially designed Easter Gift Basket filled with
Easter theme chocolates and treats. Accompany your culinary
feast with your favorite wine or champagne.
Add a bouquet of spring flowers to any of these ideas, and
you're on your way to making Easter a romantic holiday.
